			The Daegu Museum of Art will hold 100 collections from Jan. 24 to May 17. The 100th installment of the collection is a pre-exhibition to mark the 10th anniversary of its opening, and the Daegu Museum of Art is planning to use its collection to forecast the next 10 years. For an artist, it is the fruit and joy of his efforts to have a work like a child in the museum. From the perspective of an art museum, it is the face and pride of an art museum to own the work of an artist. By continuing to study these collections, it is also a great task to preserve them as cultural assets. The Daegu Museum of Art has been trying to retain works by artists leading the new trend of international contemporary art, including those by major artists of Daegu’s modern and contemporary art, since 2007, when the museum was preparing for its opening. The exhibition selects the best collection of 100 pieces from 1,307 collections collected by the Daegu Museum of Art.

Through this exhibition, it will be an opportunity to introduce outstanding works and show the direction of collection and major achievements of the Daegu Museum of Art's collection. Out of 1,307 works collected by the Daegu Museum of Art, the exhibition is composed in Korea?In addition to the works already introduced by representative artists, the museum will present 100 pieces including new items that were not introduced at the exhibition. The exhibition will introduce the most works of the collection so far at once, and will provide an opportunity to develop and record the research of the collection through a pre-collection period. Through the exhibition, the museum is expected to introduce the fruits of collection and preservation, the most important role of the museum that has been devoted to its life, to citizens and meet citizens' cultural needs.
