			To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the ventilation foundation WhanKi, the Museum of Ventilation organized the exhibition to reflect on the writer's honest life, artistic anguish and the meaning of the writer's records by releasing the diary records that Kim Whan-ki (1913-1974) left in New York during his activities (1963.10.20-1974).

In October 1963, Kim Hwan-ki headed to New York City, the new center of culture and art. For more than a decade before he was young, he completed his lifelong quest for abstract art by conducting various experiments among the outstanding artists from all over the world. The author chronicles the intense artistic journey of this period. Kim Hwan-ki's New York Times diary not only tells the story of New York City's cultural landscape in the 1960s and 1970s, but also about his personal history, showing the writer's personal appearance. Above all, Kim Hwan-ki's diary is regarded as the starting point of Kim Hwan-ki's research due to its meticulous recording of the beginning and completion of his work and related Eskis and color of use.

Let's hope that it will be an important exhibition to remind the writer of the importance of "Artist's records Importance" once again through his diary, which he wrote about his art world and his own. For the exhibition, Kim Hwan-ki's handwritten diaries and related works will be displayed and his New York studio will be newly recreated. There will also be a new book, "Kim Whan-ki New York Diary," featuring works of Eskis and some of the missing journals.
