Korea’s exclusive suppliers of international brands, which announced unique and innovative products with Castilioni, Alessi, Flos, Brionvega and Karakter, participated in the design of the exhibition hall and created a more spacious and wonderful space. 100 design icons of the 20th century and related archives will be displayed, and you will be able to experience Castilioni’s ideas in a photogenic and interactive space. [Introduction to Writers] Master of Italian Design - Icon of 20th Century Design Achilles Castilioni, a representative designer loved by Italy After studying architecture at the Milan Institute of Technology, Castilioni set up an architecture office in 1944 with his older brothers, Libio and Pierre Giacomo, who were already active in the Italian industrial design community, and began designing in earnest. She looked at her daily life with a loving eye, and displayed products that showed great functionality with experimental ideas. His seemingly mediocre but great products are still loved by many as they are still called the regulars of design. Castilioni has won nine ‘Compasso d’Oros’, the highest honor for an Italian designer, and the Italian government has kept all of his original art works and archives registered as cultural assets with the death of Castilioni in 2002.
