-Exhibitions Overview The first Korean individual exhibition of the world's designer and sculptor Keith Miklos will be held at Lotte Gallery Incheon Terminal. Breaking down each other’s boundaries by communicating between design, art, reality and virtual reality, Kismiss Miklos, the author who constantly worries about human communication, will introduce various works using his signature series "emograms" and his new film "Love LOVE" series at the exhibition. Emogram is a unique noun that was coined by a writer by using a combination of emoticons and pictograms. The author, who was concerned about digital communication and boundaries based on SNS or various messengers, took a cue from the Oxford Dictionary's selection of 'emoji' as the word of the year in 2015, and produced an emogram by combining emoticons that express emotions and spell words into a yellow circle. In consideration of the first exhibition of the 2020 New Year (NICE, COOL), Love (LOVED), Love (CUTE), Wonder (GOOD), Brave (BOLD), Lucky (LUCKY) and only seven positive emotional words "MOGRAM." His signature work, Ball, designed to allow visitors to enter a room filled with 1,000 yellow rubber balls each with seven emograms printed on it.You can meet various versions of the Imograms, including Room Ball Room. The Love series, the first of its kind in the exhibition, offers hands-on installations of 600 soft pink columns, and sculptures of Lovefield LOVE-Field, to remind you of the meaning of love. Keith Miklos, who has been highly acclaimed for his steady audience participation, enjoyed explosive popularity in Korea by introducing "Imogram Series" for the first time at the 2019 Gwangju Design Biennale. Keith Miklos, who has constantly shed light on the various effects amplified by bringing online emotional expressions into reality and inducing a synesthetic experience, will also deliver human-to-human communication and communication, love and happiness during this exhibition.
