Exhibition Information
A person's life is often likened to a great adventure or journey. It is a serious of events, relationships, and a serious of choices and decisions that happen accidentally or fatefully meet. The last half-year was a dark time when the unprecedented pandemics stopped all living and economic activity and restricted freedom of movement. It may be the Earth's revenge on the lax attitude of humanity. We are getting used to it little by little. I hope this project will be an opportunity for artists to reflect deeply on the meaning of the dynamic 'travel' so that they can move their bodies and minds freely. New places, new environment and meetings with new people are nourishment for writers to create. For them, traveling is a journey of creation and it is an important element of artistic activity. Human beings have DNA for migration and travel. When conditions are met, mankind always begins to travel. Human beings in the Pandemics are also at the threshold of great change to live in a new era. My heart is filled with anxiety and expectation. I would like to think about what it means to change our way of life, travel and migration in the pandemic era, which may continue to repeat in the future. [Source] Seoul284 homepage
