			"The first 'Art and Words' was made in 1982. 'Reality and remarks' held its foundation exhibition in 1980. The second exhibition(1981) was held 'City and Sight' in Seoul, Gwangju and Daegu. The following year, 1982, when I was in charge of general affairs, was probably the 'look of happiness' exhibition where I put my heads together for the year-round exhibition. In the meantime, at this exhibition planning meeting, there was a talk about making a bulletin board, and it was called 'Arts and Words' and proceeded in great haste. Perhaps the title 'Arts and Words' is the title that was attached to an essay by the now deceased Choi Min."

Thirty-eight years later, 16 'reality and speech' drivers regrouped.

Kang Je-bae, Kim Gun-hee, Kim Jung-hun, Roh Won-hee, Min Jung-ki, Park Bul-dong, Sung Wan-kyung, Son Jang-seop, Shin Kyung-ho, Shim Jung-soo, Ahn Kyu-chul, Lee Tae-ho, Im Ok-sang, Jung Dong-seok and Joo Jae-hwan.

Arts and Words 2020 will be held by the reality and speech drivers who used to whip the times by speaking in paintings during the harsh days when words were blocked.
