			June of nampo museum is the most beautiful time of the year when hundreds of plants and trees, including hydrangeas, royal azaleas, and roses, perform a feast of green grass in the 3000-pyeong garden. The dazzling glow of green leaves from the flowers in full bloom here and there absorbs the early summer red sunlight is a healing agent that makes viewers smile happy on their own. I'd glad to be able to hold the Jangansun Invitational Exhibition "See the Sound" late after several months of delay due to the unexpected outbreak of the "Covid 19" epidemic.

Born and raised in Suncheon, Jang An-sun says he wants to present people with longevity and luck, the energy of Suncheonman bay, by remembering the reeds of his hometown that he embraced and raised as a child, and by capturing the beautiful light that poured into Suncheonman bay.

Based on his creative techniques that he has worked hard for many years, he is a writer who tries to get closer to the public by exploring modern methodologies for the fixed traditional technique of Korean painting and expanding the world of works with endless challenging spirit.

If you are looking at his work, which he wants to be called a person who draw good painting rather than a good painter, it touches your heart that he called his painting "詩中有畵 畵中有詩". Because there is a story in the painting and there is a poem, there is a charm to communicate and sympathize with the author through poetic purification, and the message of healing that he wants to convey as the subject of Suncheonman Bay is fully approaching.

Through this exhibition, which aims to shed light on the deepening potential of Jang An-soon and the true face of his artistic philosophy, I hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity to savor the world of clear and paint ink using the harmony of ink and color on the traditional ink paintings containing Korean sentiments and  aesthetics.
