Exhibition Information
This year, we will present <ONE-PIECE 2020> with writer Kim Dae-hwan. 'ONE-PIECE' is an author research project that examines the author's previous works one by one for a year, communicates, records them in writing, and publishes them on display. It is a place where you can look at not only Kim Dae-hwan's works but also all other works in the form of an interview book. Some of the works can be found in the exhibition hall. Writer Kim Dae-hwan held an individual exhibition <Hello Human?> at Art Space Pool in 2019, and hosted <Yangmal Pity> (tastehouse, 2019), which was a solution to the exhibition's grammar, operation, and movement with his friend and companion dog "Yangmal." In addition, <The Three heads statue of Legend> and <Zegaljimini>, which are composed by extending legends, stories, experiences, and narratives to form sculptures, were presented. Through "Wash 3's Face-to-Scale" and "Shhhh, Perspective of Me," we explored the sculpture by linking 'How to View' and 'Scale'. ONEROOM conducted the 'ONE-PIECE' project in 2018 with artists Kim Soo-yeon, Son Hyun-sun, and Lee Soo-kyung, and you can access the materials of the three artists at this exhibition. Previous materials in the form of scrapbooks have separated the text from the drawing board, renewed in the form of a binder with a table of contents and an index of paint, and the index makes it easy to find information, descriptions, and stories about individual works. In addition, the story of Kim Soo-yeon's recent activities and exhibitions has been added. [Source] ONEROOM homepage
