			"The big frame of work is always nature."

I want nature in my work to be a place of reason for the essence of art, not just for reproduction. I hope that the image will be naturally expressed like the logic of "natural" that it does itself, and that it will naturally be revealed and permeated. 

"The awe of the subtle and mysterious nature, such as the clear sky, the shining sunlight over the leaves, the dancing weeping willows, the autumn moonlight, the winter twigs, the sound of wind, the white snowfield, the early morning mist, the water shadow in the pond, may be the biggest reason I work on the theme of nature for a long time."

Kim Sang-yeoul's 'Wind' series shows the peak of his clearness.  The presence of a few leaves, which were caught indifferently, is truly great. Every face of nature has its own beautiful story. 

In that natural world, only a few lines of notes can present a tone that is not in the world, or in a few words can imply all the sensibilities of the world. So his restrained beauty and depth add to the tranquility that was not in the world.
