			When asked, “Why are there more depressed people in the minority?” I could understand a little bit of the psychological situation they were in. So, I started reading books about minorities and supporting them. Then, I came across drag culture. It came as interesting to express and erupt the various repressed personas they had. Drag culture mainly expressed its persona in terms of makeup and styling, and it was the mask that was created by taking a step further and making it three-dimensional.

I think we have social status in our lives and are required to play a role accordingly. It is understood in the same context as living under a mask. They are required to keep their bright appearances and emotions hidden. Furthermore, the depression and persona of socially disadvantaged people are even more required to hide.

Watching the news of people who go through unfair things that are reported through news or various media outlets, people dismiss it as someone else’s business and think it won’t happen to themselves. I wanted to let people know through my work that the situation and depression of minorities, which are other people’s business but also ours, are in place.
