The end of the year is a time of mixed gratitude and expectations for the new year. Art Sumbi presents the year-end exhibition "Our brilliant winter" with love and gratitude to the precious and supporting the New Year. This exhibition is fi.The still echoes of the winter scenery and II. Two sections are divided into two sections, "Memories of Winter Daily," to convey various memories and impressions of winter through the works of Park Kyung-mook, Park Soo-hyung, Lee Kyung-hyun, Lee Jae-in, and Lee Han-jung.

The first section presents works by Park Soo-hyung, Lee Han-jung and Park Kyung-mook, who show the calm echo of the winter scenery. Author Park Soo-hyung expressed his own image of a forest resembling a cold winter in his own way. In the "infinite fields" series, the image of the bushes expressed by casting artificial pearl powder and silver emulsified paint on a black background shines like a mirage. Why did the writer express the bushes in cold silver in the darkness without light, not in the fresh green that we commonly know? The grass image expressed in imitation artificial pearl powder, not real jewelry, is a welcome to a city lit by neon signs and artificial lighting, and an expression of pictorial language about human desire and scarcity. The author saw that humans, who live in the eyes of others with a lack of subjects, were in the process of repeated fulfillment and lack of desire, and projected it into a pool image that repeats generation and extinction. The work asks the question of what our true desires and lives are through the image of a bush that repeats its creation and extinction even in the chilly winter.

Park Kyung-mook and Lee Han-jung, who majored in Korean painting, took away traditional Oriental painting and landscape painting techniques and captured the winter scenery on canvas with original techniques of the artist. Author Park Kyung-mook presents the scenery of old houses with our own historical characteristics, including Myeongmujin, Imcheonggak, and Myeongnyundang, based on Seolgyeongsansu. The artist drew emotions and time in the place through his unique calm charm and space."Not everything is visible. As the author says, "Just because I can't see the footprints did not mean I didn't walk," his view of nature lies in visualizing the hidden nature and power. Looking at the snow scenes of Korea in the silence of silence, you can feel the beauty of restrained writing.

Author Lee Han-jung's work, which depicts the panoramic scenery of mountains and forests, conveys the echo of the lyrical and calm winter scenery. The scenery in the work begins with the memory of the natural scenery passing through the windows of the car. Therefore, the nature depicted by the author is not a realistic one, but a natural one that reflects the artist's inner self.As the author said that he wanted to "import nature's vitality to shape the inner side," the artist described small dots by stacking them up, as if performing the inner images of nature accumulated in memory. The dense coniferous forest stretching into the sky drawn by the author, white rocky mountains revealed through them, and the emerald-colored nature of the winter lake permeates our interior and keeps our eyes on us for a long time.

The second section consists of works by Lee Kyung-hyun and Lee Jae-in, who remind us of our familiar winter routines, which are now unfamiliar landscapes. Author Lee Kyung-hyun described the images and scenes of human beings in clusters in various colors. It is a very familiar winter routine for us to fly wind lamps, have snowball fights, and enjoy ice fishing while making a wish. However, these days, when everyday life has become routine due to the Pandemics, the work of Lee Kyung-hyun is quite new to me. The eyes of the work that looks down on the world from top to bottom are now part of the work, looking at the everyday scenes that can only be imagined.

As the Christmas season approaches, the city is filled with colorful lighting decorations and sculptures throughout the streets to celebrate Christmas. Lee Jae-in's work, reminiscent of a Christmas tree, was filmed intentionally blurring the focus by wrapping a bulb on a miniature sculpture of the Empire State Building, a symbol of a skyscraper in New York. The welcome shining light bulb, as if the view had blurred, abstracted the city environment with colorful neon signs. Imagine a colorful Christmas tree that lights up the city's night, and recall the memories and emotions of Christmas that were excited like a child for a moment.

The winter image delivered by the five artists captures the moments we inadvertently passed and creates a new mental landscape. Let's hope this exhibition prepared by Art Sumbi will give us a precious time to remind us of the glorious winter engraved on one side of our hearts.
