PKM Gallery will host fiTime in Space: The Life Stylefi exhibition as a planned exhibition that will wrap up the year 2020 and open the New Year in 2021.

In the post-corona era, isolation and non-face-to-face life became New Normal. This exhibition is designed to provide insight into the value and meaning of this private space in the face of an increasingly long period of time for an individual to stay in a private residential space. The new meaning of private residential space, which evolves into an area that simultaneously encompasses work, relaxation, and even social functions amid changes in lifestyle, has become a cultural and sociological place that has a far greater impact on our lives than before the Corona era.

Thus, Time in Space: The Life Style suggests that art, furniture, and music sounds created during various periods of time do not simply stay as elements for decoration of residential space, but rather as an important place for storytelling to broaden the user's thinking and provide aesthetic pleasure.

PKM+, where this exhibition will be held, is a space that was remodeled a few years ago, designed by architect Kim Joong-up in 1969, and is still a place where the size and feeling of the residential space are naturally imbued.

The ground floor of the exhibition hall is painted by Jinkyung San Suu Kyi, Yun Hyeong-geun, Seo Seung-won, Baek Hyun-jin, and Jeong Yeong-do, and Kwon Dae-seop's Moon Pot, a sculpture of American artist Andrea Zittel's bookcase, Danish designer Paul Kfihrmömöm and Europe's wooden lamp in the 1960s. Also, the basement, centered on the colorful wallpaper-decorated home bar space of the Rococo pattern, became fashionable during the Victorian era in the U.K. and became more famous in the early 20th century, with bar tables and shelves designed by the young designer, Jean-Pierrean, and Gwon Deulner, French designer. By coexisting with the end-stage base album, the classic's "Gourmet" and the younger generation's visual "hiphip" that endured a long period of time are broadly in tune with each other, and it consists of a space where unique aesthetics are harmonized.

During the Post-Corona era, real space travel became a highly constrained routine, but virtual space-time travel through the exploration of new media became much richer. For example, the current trend of retro retro sentiment in the 1980s and 1990s, which is prominent in the popular music and fashion sectors, is also a phenomenon that the younger generation has renewed its attention and followed past information, made possible by today's users' new media.

The exhibition is designed to explore the possibility of a living space where users can get comfort, inspiration, and feel their vision for the future by harmoniously co-exist on different points of time, from the uneasy present of the Post-Corona era to the very distant past.
