Exhibition Information
<Orbit Resonance:Welcome back> is a resonant space where 11 artists sound while orbiting different orbits with their own frequencies. The term "orbital resonance" refers to a state in which orbit can resonate continuously when the revolution periods of two celestial bodies exert attract each other. In this exhibition, two heavenly bodies, curator and artist, meet, <orbit resonance> and <Welcome Back> cross each other as multi-layered space-time due to the difference between perception and perception. The infection and isolation that has continued for several months has shaken our daily life, time and concept of exhibition. <Orbit Resonance Welcome back> moves space-time experiences mixed in times of confusion and change to everyday space instead of white wall, and asks about the art of everyday (art) by making it unfamiliar. The exhibition features sculptures, paintings, photos, installations, and live performances by inviting 10 artists (Song Hyun-sung, Lee Eun-woo, Jang Jung-wan, Choi Dae-jin, Sunny Kim, Gido Kwante, Anneta Jessikovsky, David Ramelas, Katie Patterson, and Tino Se-gal) to join. <Orbit Resonance:Welcome back> is a meta-exhibition that expresses the possibility of exhibition and its hope in a more incomplete situation in which the possibility of exhibition and the clarity of the theme are confirmed. At the end of the year 2020, with comfort that the present uneasiness may be the beginning of another beginning. Let's go back to the beginning of countless moments like a spirally moving planet.
