Exhibition Information
The History and Contents of 「Swami-rok」," Records and Daily Life of Oh Hui-mun, Hanyang, who suffered the Japanese Invasion of Korea in the 16th Century The National Museum of Jinju (Director Choi Young-chang) will hold a special exhibition, 'Oh Hee-moon's Nanjung Ilgi, 'Galmirok,' but life will continue.' O Hui-mun (1539-1613), a noble intellectual of the mid-Joseon Period, wrote a diary almost every day for nine years and three months (1591.11.27.-1601.27) during the Japanese invasions (1592-1598). This special exhibition, which highlights the diary, "The Chronicles of the Red Sea," is a reflection of the meaning of human life that continued despite the horrors of the Seven Years' War and the hellish reality. Today, we are having a hard time with new coronavirus infections (corona 19), and we hope you pay a lot of attention to this exhibition, which has a lot of implications for the reality we are in.
