Exhibition Information
CNK Gallery is the third author of the "Art of the Day" series to explore the extended art language reproduced by the art method. The artist treats soil, pigment, and glaze as key materials and unfolds the abstract colors of textures that have never been dealt with in the history of painting on a three-dimensional screen. A simple lump of the earth passes through two-star games, transforming from a material state into a solid colored object. Yi Yujeong has constantly experimented with possible alternatives as a form of practice of contemporary art by metastasizing the vast history and style of ceramic art. It was introduced in 2011 as a research series on contemporary cultural forms, a series of similar artifacts, and a series of celadon. Through the "Moon Series," the work reflects the social and cultural forms that penetrate the contemporary era, and has revolutionized the new art language as the center of modern art. The artist's exhibition consists of new works, which are the results of his exploration of painting experienced as material on a three-dimensional screen under the theme of "Color Sang-myeon: Hidden Shapes." The pottery with a solid three-dimensional object reveals a strange but fresh finish due to the collision between the low-£-£ lines accumulated in layers. The work <000> separates the upper and lower parts with cobalt-colored pigment in a rigid vertically angled vase, expresses geometric balance and harmony with traditional abstract patterns, and draws the viewer's attention on the screen with a panoramic structure. The elaborately drawn figure located in the center is filled with green. Green is a chroma-key color that is used primarily for the easy removal of two images. The provocative green color on the surface of the porcelain, which seemed impossible to see in the 18th century, embodies the familiar color sing and paint. The work <0000> seems to have been found after falling into a round fluorescent monochrome paint container. It is now the point where I am curious about the process of building solidly fixed colliding crystals. The work <ue white color. Whether the texture of blue and white porcelain comes first, the solid objet, which shines with glass, captures the boundaries of time, as if it were manufactured according to the alchemist's confidential recipe. The significant work ciables that persist but transcend the traditional method in the process of concentrating on completing a piece of work, such as the ratio of zato, temperature of the kiln, timing of drawing, and glaze. A noticeable trend in modern art is the interest in modern ceramics, which cannot be achieved without comprehensive knowledge and experience in sculpture, painting, and engraving. Various techniques devised by potters on the Korean Penn early Joseon Dynasty, and white porcelain widely used by Joseon scholars, have been interpreted by significant writers and led to the completion of sculptural three-dimensional works. Fascinated by the process of refreshingnuing to create surprisingly original forms at the boundary between pure art and craft. Yi Yujeong's works are owned by many national and international organizations, including the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Victoria & Albert Museum in London, China's Top Museum of Art, Norway's National Museum of Contemporary Art, Handok Pharm at the Daegu Museum of Art POPCORN exhibition in 2019, and was also housed at the Daegu Museum of Art. The main exhibition is "COLLECT 14" (Luxury Gallery, London) following the 2011 Seoul Modern Art Competition Grand Prize. The United Kingdom, 2014), the Cheongju International Craft Biennale (2015), the China Shanghai World Ceramic Biennale (2016), and theom.
