Exhibition Information
It is the fourth exhibition planning program selected as a contest project for the Korea Culture and Arts Center Association. Until last year, the event was held under the title "Dongchon Sculpture Festival", but starting this year, the Dongchon Contemporary Art Festival" will be renamed to display contemporary art works of various genres on the sculpture. It is a planning exhibition that actively utilizes the Ayang Ki Chart Road, which was selected as the "2020 Korea Night Tour 100 Line", as well as the geographical advantages of the art center located in Dongchon amusement park, which has long been loved as a resting place for Daegu citizens. It is expected to provide citizens with the opportunity to enjoy various contemporary art in their daily lives and explore the direction of development by looking at local contemporary art. By installing works in public places where citizens and tourists usually visit, citizens who visit this place will be able to naturally appreciate the works in their daily lives, develop their artistic skills, and experience how rich their daily lives with art are. Through this event, I hope that the local people will prove that it is possible to create a living environment where everyday life can be a cultural enjoyment and turn every corner of Dong-gu into an open cultural space where people and art coexist. By space, there are a total of 25 exhibitions, including 10 large sculptures, 8 installations of Ayang Gallery, and 4 installations of Ayang View Gallery in the outdoor space of Ayang Art Center, and free outdoor sculptures, photography, SNS posting, and pole making will be held.
