Exhibition Information

			The project was planned as an extension of the "Sudasang" project, where artist Jung Seung can share various stories about art and technology with artists, planners, and scientists that have been underway since 2018. Due to the nature of the project, which starts without a predetermined theme, the nuance of the topic or "chatting" is naturally created by the participants' occupation, inclination, background, etc. Using these characteristics, we would like to conduct an experiment to focus on the "chat street" of artists or art planners in East Asia (Taiwan, Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong), which is geographically close and often tense by complicated political and economic interests. By conducting individual interviews, the project for the exhibition began, and the exhibition consists of video installation works and performances based on pre-prepared interviews, as well as online live chat, which will be a place for participants to share their opinions during the exhibition.

Digital systems, which have recently expanded their reach due to infectious diseases around the world, start with setting up the surrounding environment based on user information at the start of a particular project. Unlike the structure of a modern system, which used to work only when the entire members followed a uniform standard, it is seeking to complete a system that guarantees diversity by each individual user-centered criterion. In this atmosphere, I would like to try a project to bring together first-person thoughts of each member of the art community in the region called Far East Asia or East Asia and share them with the audience. It is to set up a variety of chat rooms that begin based on the space in which each person belongs.
