Exhibition Information

The Seongbuk Cultural Foundation has conducted a study that sheds light on one of the writers who worked based on Seongbuk and one person who fits the spirit of the times every year, and a planned exhibition based on this has been held. Celebrating its sixth anniversary this year, the "Civil Personnel Planning Exhibition" will be joined by Kim Hoon, a writer who observes the world with objective language and accurate eyes.

The exhibition name "I Live Here" is derived from the words of "Heuksan" (2011). The author, who tries to "talk about human suffering, sadness, and hope" and "fears and suffers people who have moved to the far and certain world that cannot be explained in words or words," lives today, not in paradise as a transcendent space.¹

Kim Hoon, who looked directly at the world without turning away or bypassing the inevitable reality, and looked at Kim Hoon's sentences to "sickly look into the world" in the Civilian Human Resources Exhibition 6, Kim Hoon, tried to capture the people and the scenery of the times who endure "here" in disaster situations.

First of all, "Archive" examines Kim Hoon's literary world and the time he passed, and deals with scenes from the era described in his language and still subject to struggle. It is based on materials related to interviews, articles, and published literature and is first introduced through the web. In the following <Exhibition>, the keyword "human (military), labor, timeliness, typing, and paradise" refers to "here" where people face reality without distorting it through various works with different heights, textures, and temperatures. Through this, I would like to draw an era in the language of art that depicts the eyes of literature reading the times and the scenery beyond words and writings.

We live every day in relation to a world that we cannot embrace or abandon. When trying to narrow the distance by a span and look into each other and understand each other, the scene of a disaster-like era could be reborn as a chronicle of "us." To this end, I do not stop speaking and acting, and I live here

¹ “…I do not have the goal of arguing for justice in words or in writing. I'm just going to talk about human suffering, sadness, and hope. I, only, could speak a little bit. Therefore, I fear and suffer from people who have gone bloodless toward the distant and certain world that cannot be explained in words or in writing. I live here."
