Exhibition Information
"Keep In touch" in Seoul Sunho Parks's solo exhibition <Hard CopyList> will be held from January 28 to February 10, 2021. In the exhibition, a series of his works will be displayed that question the way the works, the private narrative, and the way the images are distributed. The exhibition presents the Jinju series, which starts with a narrative related to the mother, and the Smear series, which contains questions about path and departure, life and death, memory, and records. The <Pearl> series explores the approach and observation of jewelry and curiosity that people consider beautiful, and the way typical images are produced, while the <Pearl> series presents images and images collected while traveling through the angular field trip. The two works are embodied through the text of the author's private narrative. <Hardcopy List> questions the way images work to capture distributed, distributed, and fixed semantic systems, and experiments on what new experiences editing can create. park don't just try to deny what he thinks is problematic, but he/she follows the path that the image creates to understand the production process and how it works. Through the countless paths that are created during the production of the work and the way that memories are folded and woven, Park ask questions about the symbolic system and the unit of the world that leads to a single meaningful action.
