The Daegu Culture and Arts Center has held the "Middle-aged Artist of the Year" exhibition every year since 2016 with the aim of organizing the works of veteran artists in Daegu and providing turning points and driving force for future works.
The five artists selected as middle-aged artists of the year are Kim Gun-ye, Sonpa, Shin Sang-wook, Lee Ji-young, and Jeong Tae-kyung, who have solidified their own world of work over the years by steadily publishing their distinctive works. In this exhibition, artists will organize their work and present new attempts focusing on new works produced recently.
