Exhibition Information
Gyeongju National Museum (Director Choi Seon-ju) is holding a photo exhibition <The grass is still new in the old site of a thousand years> at the special exhibition hall from June 30, 2021 (Wednesday) to October 3, 2021 (Sunday). This special exhibition was planned to provide an opportunity to more easily approach Silla Buddhist art prior to the reorganization of the Silla Art Museum at the end of this year. Among the photos taken over decades by Seok-Hong Han, Jang-Hyun Ahn, and Se-Yun Oh, who are famous for their photographs of cultural assets, 57 pieces of Buddhist relics in Gyeongju are selected and presented. (...) Gyeongju National Museum is trying to introduce various cultural heritages of Silla in a more interesting way. We hope that this special exhibition will allow Gyeongju citizens and visitors to feel closer to the history and culture of Silla. (Source = Gyeongju National Museum)
