My Art Museum presents Alice Dalton Brown, Where the Light Breathes, a retrospective exhibition of the American artist Alice Dalton Brown on view from July 24 to October 24, 2021. Alice Dalton Brown is based in Ithaca and other suburbs of New York, known for her delicate brushstrokes that can be mistaken for photographs. The artist’s works elegantly depict the contrasting yet harmonious relationship between nature and artificial elements, giving a refreshing peace of visual beauty combined with light, water, and breeze. This first overseas retrospective of Alice Dalton Brown introduces 80 works covering the artist's 50 years of work of large oil paintings, pastels, and other various scales and media that envisioned the artist's works. Three new works will be available on view for the viewers in Korea; In the Quiet Moment, Expectation, and Lifting Light. The world of Dalton Brown invites the viewers to meditate through blue scenery that expands beyond the canvas.
