완도 마음치료미술관 국제 공모전

삶과 죽음의 경계에 놓였던 장소가 예술로 다시 태어납니다.
대우재단과 완도군이 함께하는 《완도 마음치유미술관 국제 공모전》이 2026년 5월 12일부터 7월 31일까지 진행됩니다.

이번 공모전은 과거 완도 대우병원의 영안실·보일러실·기숙사동 등 실제 장소성을 지닌 공간을 기반으로, 예술을 통한 치유와 기억, 존재의 감각을 새롭게 제안하는 국제 프로젝트입니다.

총 7천만 원 규모의 상금 및 제작비 지원, 본선 10인 아카이브 전시, 국내외 예술전문가 심사 등 신진 및 중견 작가 모두에게 열려 있는 공공 예술 플랫폼입니다.

The “Wando Mind Healing Museum International Open Call,” organized by the Daewoo Foundation and Wando County, is now open from May 12 to July 31, 2026.

This project invites artists from around the world to create works responding to a former Daewoo hospital site in Nohwado, Korea — including spaces once used as a mortuary, boiler room, and dormitory facilities.

Selected finalists will participate in an archive exhibition, with a total of 70 million KRW in awards and production support. The competition welcomes artists aged 19 and above from all countries.
