It takes about a year before a person is born, puts his head down, pushes his belly up, and takes his first step. It's not a long time considering the average life expectancy of humans, but rather a considerable amount of preparation for walking compared to other primates. It takes longer to walk in earnest. Only when the strength to support the heavy brain is increased, sensory organs to effectively process external information are developed, and exercise skills that allow the brain and muscles to work together to perform complex functions are learned, will they be able to walk in earnest. The process seems to start as a coincidence and naturally takes place, but it is also the beginning of a struggle and grand history.

If the meaning of upright walking to mankind is to have a large brain and free hand, walking opens up the possibility of a free will for individuals. You can walk freely, so you can leave your home or explore an unknown world, so you can walk into a new experience that you didn't expect. Our future begins to open today's steps. Imagine the future and decide where to turn today's toes. The world you walk into is the door to your future, and it's up to you to decide which door you're going to open.

Soje-dong Art Belt's second project, <Future Walk>, consists of stories found while walking around Soje-dong. The authors linked clues from the past and present with the future with their respective eyes, looking into them for a long time, analyzing them closely, and processing them in their own ways. Exhibitions, performances, workshops, and other works that will meet you are 14 doors to the future created by the artist's walking and imagination. I'm happy today just by looking forward to walking, tapping, and opening the doors together with those who visit this place.
